is the latest 3717 version superlumed.?

Lume pics are easily manipulated depending on your camera settings. Someone on RG recently got one and it wasn't superlumed.

Received mine Friday and it is not superlumed but it is also not crap level rep lume

Don't mean to hijack, but I've decided I want a 3717 after purchasing a PAM a couple months ago. Are there different models I should avoid, prefer? Is there a better dealer for this watch?

Only one A7750 version out there now...

I would not recommend the V3 at this time. I got one on Sat. The hour hand and minute hand on the watch is grey instead of white. Indifference if unbearable to my eyes. Emailed my concerns to my TD and got the following responses..

I just talked with Factory and show the picture you sent me to them, they said all of their hour hand and minute hands also like that I have request them if possible to change a more white hands, but they told me all same

you do see from your own website the picture of the hands are supposed to be white right? so there is no way for you to send me some white hands?? all the pictures of the 3717 on RWI are white hands. So I guess you are telling me that your v3 are all now inaccurate?

TD response:
The minute and hour hands are lume applied, the Second hand is white painted. My website pictures look white is depends on the lighting, they are same too , Please check the attached high resolution QC image which you have approved, They are both white , Of course I can get the replacement hands if the factory installed the wrong hands, but they told me that is all the same just like the QC images I sent you. Please understanding I want to help you but the situation is like that now.

QC from TD. Noticed that the sub dial hands at 12 and 6 is white and the minute and hour hands is clearly grey.. sounds like all the v3 have this issue one way or the other, another member got a v3 from a different TD recieved a white hand and a grey hand. So, if you were to place the order I would ask to make sure the hands are white as they should. But the lume is quite good though..

I am probably the one he is referring to. I could have lived with it if they were both gray, but one gray one white just screams poor quality rep. This despite the rest of the watch being quite good.

Wow I saw that and was hoping it was just a batch issue. I can easily wait I guess. Hope they get better.

This is my second 3717. The gray hands pictured there are actually the standard hands. Mine has an hour hand that is much whiter and pretty close to how you would want it to be and a minute hand like that. As I said I could have lived with what is in that picture.
I would not necessarily expect much better if you wait.

I suggest you should do a reluctant job, they probably will become more white. Besides that it looks awesome!

Problem seems to be the lume quality used on the hands.

If you sent it for lume mod, it will fix it to become more white. Of course that will come with cost and time...

Reps are never perfect, I've learnt that.....

it appears they applied the lume on those hands a bit thin so what u are seeing is the black dial background making the white thin lume darker looking, the subdials ones are not hollow and painted on top of solid metal hand and that is why it looks so white, the fix for this should be remove your hands and put a thin layer of white paint on the backside of those hands and or more lume there ,, it would be something i would try first but of course u could have them relumed all together , just trying to help nice looking watch btw

Here you go dude. Took the picture a couple of months back when I got the V3. The brighter one is the 111n v3. About 10 secs with led flashlight.

Still grey lume on hands?

Is there anyone who has tried to paint the back of the hands white? Did it work? Would this be a hard job if you have no experience at all in de/re-assembling a watch?
