Another step to Frankenville..............

With the 2008 dated Gen 93150 / 585 ensemble............

With my Rep 93150/580 ensemble....

and there is more to follow.................I just managed to install (.....finally) an MBW correct version, GWSD case back as well - as most of the MBW/MBK's shipped with the DRSD version :lolcina:

Nice! It looks awesome. Congrats for being able to source the gen parts like that. Does it feel like it made a big difference even though the case is rep?

nothing beats gen bracelets, wished i knew about rolexes, went past a rolex AD in town today and do like the look of a couple of models, this may get expensive! congrats on the pick up!

Thanks guys for the comments. A few answers...

They are rare and expensive , but I picked them up with the 93150 bracelet so I think the deal was better (but still very painful!). Bought from a private collection.

@mendota - makes a world of difference. Never thought it could but it does. Main difference is in the clasp operation and feel. Psychologically feels better as well - gotta justify it somehow LOL.

The case is a MBW/MBK and takes the Gen parts rather well - as we all know.

The plexi is a bit of a mystery, picked it up off a member and it was discussed a lot over on RG - there is a thread there.

A popular view was that it is a Clark mid dome T39 variant?

I have a Clark T39 Super Dome and a Phong T39 service spec plexi, but this is my favourite for clarity and rise/bevel - even though it is less true to OEM.
