Theres one picture on trusty currently- I could be wrong but I think it's an updated bezel itself, not the insert.

I asked both Andrew from Trusty and Li from Jtime, they both said the only difference is bezel insert...
TBH, bezel insert was the least of my concerns and I really wanted them to fix the hands, "X" problem on dial, random serial number and better dial color tone...
Really disappointed as they are fully aware of these problems cause smoke told them and we were expecting them to be fixed and more for the new v2s, but they're only changing one minor problem and giving us a $50-$60 price increase... I think they're going to be slowly updating their product, one improvement at a time every few months while introducing price increases.
Mate - They are a business and product is selling well. They give a damn about feedback. Improvements “may” and will come but only if/when it benefits ZZF.
On a different note - I do agree with all that you have said. Smoke’s suggested wishlist is more preferred than bezel/insert color which I don’t think any rep factory will get right anytime soon.

I agree, but it's just annoying that there's a new product with minor upgrades every couple of months (presumably) rather than one upgrade a year or so with more improvements. I know a business is a business and the goal is to make as much money as possible, but that could be done in other ways since it makes OCD people such as myself constantly want to upgrade whenever they release lol, but I guess that's the point of it all
