First comments:

- included strap (with a buckle) is longer version of a strap attached to the watch. I swapped it’s longer part to be able to actually wear the watch ;)

- screws in lugs are NOT butter soft as in Noob’s version - they are way better! …and there is spare pair of them!

- date wheel font is perfect when comparing to available gen photos

- bezel is working way more solid than on Noob version - AFAIR. No rattle at all, any!

Especially for you 4K video:

(there is still blue safety paint on the crown, forgot to remove it prior filming…)

I used to have Noob's V1 and the first thing I had to do is to replace rep strap with something longer... In this case the longer strap fits the bill.

Overall impression - is that model on par with Noob V1 or inferior?

The lume looks solid. That is great news! The bezel font and color don't match prototype though :( too white

I don't know....can't trust photos when it comes to incremental color shifts, I've taken enough to know how easy it is to shift hue dependent on jpg conversion, ambient lighting, post processing etc... Funnily enough over on RG someone is saying it's too green....

Hopefully when I'm back Stateside in June, i can pick up one of these, plus my V1 and do both side by side with my gen...Really hoping the blue version is out by then too....

I am just curious; are there any QC issues on this watch? Everywhere on this forum i have read that many people who have bought ZF watches had things fall apart after some months (ZF IWC and Tudor reps), Do you think BPFF is also going to be troublesome?

First of all, we are never sure that when someone says "it is from ZF!" or "it is from NOOB" - it means that manufacturer. For me it is just depending who is a subcontractor of i.e. ZF in making of particular watch. This one looks solid to me, who knows, maybe the crown will break soon or something etc.

Whether ZF or Noob, a BPFF is a super rep any enthusiast should have in their collection.

What about the date font compared to gen/v1?
