ZF Pelagos rough case back

Hi guys, first post from a long-time reader.

I recently picked up a Rep Pelagos and it has a rough case back that is irritating to wear. I have already taken off the bracelet for the rubber strap, and I have tried to break the rough edges on the case. However, the case back grooves as pretty uncomfortable.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to prove this? Would a local watchmaker be able to work on this? I am pretty handy, but I'm not a big fan of detail work!

I have the v6f and it also has very sharp edges. Any tips for making them softer?

Use a sunshine polishing cloths and polish the part that are sharp
