Hello,

Wondering if possible to fix my pelagos. What would need to be replaced? Dial or date wheel? the date sits very low in window. I'd hate to just buy another one. I wouldn't mind replacing movement with sw200 if that helped anything. is it just generic 2824 date wheel?

Thanks for advice!

Pictures would help and remote diagnostics are always pain... But! If it's a stock eta wheel there is not so much you can do. You can try to shift the dial a bit higher while the feet will bend probably or you can see if you find another datewheel with more spaced figures printed on... Option 2 is nearly impossible if you ask me... For option 1 you need to ensure that the dial is still fitting in the case when shifting it up... Maybe it is already a bit bent downwards an a correction would solve the issue

Hm... are all dates the same?

If so you could try to clip the dial feet and rotate the movement ever so slighty anticlockwise and re-attach the dial using dial dots (glue).

yes, they are all the same. what do you think about trying to twist the dial and bend the feet?

Not sure if bending the feet will do the trick tbh. Usually there is not much play (none in fact). And with bent feet it might be difficult to get the dial sit flush on the movement imho.

@KJ2020 had a post that likely would help- I cannot link it but it's in the first 20 posts or so in the " modification and repairs" threads - it's about a " quick and dirty dwo repair"
