Hello guys, I've received my pam 389 from toro but i would liek to check with you guys if the gen/zf has white dots on the dial? I can't see any white dots, i went to ebay and look at all the gen pictures and can't see any white dots too. Rep zf 389 pictures + qc ones, all don't have white dots too.

But i look at puretime video, it has white dots on it, only at certain angle.

Pictures won't capture those finger prints, they are just normal prints.

Maybe they are inside ...

No not inside, if i use micro cloth i can see it move around. I used tissue paper and they are gone, i think i know the reason. It might sounds strange but the crystal of the 389 is very smooth compared to the rest of my watches. I believe it's the surface that is too smooth, luckily this watch has inner AR, thus tissue paper can be used to wipe it.

I wipe the finger prints off the glass using tissue, means it has been solved. Just need to check with members about the white dots.

Can someone advice please.

A lens cleaning solution should do the trick. I use one they sell on Amazon by Zeiss but you could always make one yourself. It's distilled water, and a very small amount of alcohol mixed together. The small amount of alcohol will break down the oils on the finger prints and allow them to be removed while still being gentle enough not to hurt the AR.

Hope that helps...

Are you saying

You have your new watch in hand

It does not have white dots on dial

You want to know if it should have white dots because.....

The pure time video shows white dots

...but the gen appears not to have white dots on the dials?

Are you still with me?

The dial SHOULD NOT have any white dots , so it appears you is OK!

Or did I just get all of that wrong????? LOL
