ZF IWC 500912 Big Pilot Review & Macros

Hi all,

Sorry to dig up an old post. But I’m currently looking to purchase the 502001 Big Pilot and have been offered both ZF and M+F. Does anyone know of a comparison or know of the differences between the two? I have searched high and low and cannot find anything.

Hi, the small end of the second hand is likely still to small. It is a known issue.

Also, I looked at the original and it really looks amazing with the double sided anti reflective crystal. So a 2x AR upgrade is recommended.

Thanks for the info. Are you referring to the ZF 502001 or the M+F?

I was talking about the original big pilot. You are looking for the Top Gun version. I don’t Think that one has the same issues but I’m not sure.
