Personally I'd say the biggest tell would be the green on the bezel. Doesn't have the same 'pop' as the gen.

I don’t care much about the yells on this one. I’m going to get one regardless. It is a great watch for the money and something you don’t see everyday.

The edge chamfer around the lugs are different.
On the Gen it's more defined and wide. Rep is quite narrow.
Seconds hand pinion hole looks more prominent on the rep.
But over all looks good.

Agree, to add the rose on the crown is more define on the Gen vs rep. It is not a tell if you don't have it side by side with a gen pretty scary!

Hi there, just read your post. Thats awesome comparison by the way! I just bought myself a ZF black bay Harrods, and realized that the crown neck is a bit short, unlike my 79733n black bay two tone’s. Different type of complication since ordinary Black Bay has no date and the two tone has it.
anyway what do you think about the comparison of the crown neck between the gen black bay harrods and the ZF’s.
