Does it use a 2824 movement?

You can buy a little part in the keyless system and swap it out to remove the ghost position in the crown. I think I bought the part from esslinger

Some people have also just removed the part, filed down the nub, then re installed

I’ll try to find a link with my write up

You need to replace with eta part 2801-2 445, then remove all the date related parts.

for 2824 I've tried the "2801-2 445" lever portion but sometimes its still stiff when pulling out the crown , sometimes it might even cause the yolk to spring outa place needing to take it all apart. What I eventually did was switch the entire movement to a 2892 movement for smoother hand wind + the lever for 2892 springs it back to place for 1st position without any hassle. All you need is to file off the notch thats all..
