I'm selling this lovely Royal Oak, bought on RWI at the beginning of April 2024;
the original listing is here for reference ( https://forum.replica-watch.info/threads/zf-15202-royal-oak-refinished-w-deep.10973153/ )
The watch is keeping time very nicely, although I don't have a timegrapher to show any real measurement, I noticed it is on par with my gen Longines in terms of sec/day.
The stem engages poorly with the date-set, so I normally ended up setting the date by spinning the hands, which for me it's not a big deal.
The rotor is nice and, as mostly here would say, noisy enough to reassure it's spinning. Again, another detail I don't care about.
The fact is that the bracelet, and the overall finish is very nice, and I tried to capture it with my low aperture shots in attachment below.
The polished sides of the bezel really dance with the light, and so does the deep blue of the dial.
The date wheel is properly aligned and I always see it changing gradually around midnight.
The bracelet is very good, flexible and comfy, much nicer than others I had, including one polished by a legendary forum member...
: )
(pure personal opinion)
The watch is in the UK at the moment, but I'm travelling to Italy (EU) from Dec the 18th until Dec the 27th, and I can ship by then.
Afterwards the watch will return to the UK with me, but since my partner live in Belgium, it's easy for us to move things in and out the country if customs are a concern to you. It's just a matter of waiting a few extra days and then ship from within the EU, if this is your necessity.
Postage is on me anyway, hence the price asking which is marginally lower than what I've paid if for, simply because the watch has been extremely well cared of, and it's essentially in the same conditions I received it.
I did not spend ages polishing and cleaning the piece before taking the pictures, but I could not find any scratch anywhere, but some very gentle signs on the interior of the clasp, which I tried to depict at best here.
Thickness is really nice, measuring at 8.8mm with my mechanical calliper. I can send you further images if needed, don't hesitate to ask.
I'm selling this because I tried a small Seiko Speedtimer and I found it fits better my wrist.
Many thanks in advance, a lovely day and week to you all, and thanks to RWI for the usual support.
Further £30 of this sale will go towards the platform for their ongoing support and work.
Cheers
Ludo
