[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYowOYMFOs4&feature=related"]REAL vs FAKE ROLEX SUBMARINER green - YouTube[/ame]

I'm by no means a rolex expert or even an enthusiast.

Found this vid on youtube after getting an entry level 21j which I'm in the process of sterilizing.

Would be great to get some input from the more knowledgeable members here on the forum

Second one. Cyclops isn't straight, and they never seem to be on any reps.

Second is rep for sure. Solid midlinks on the bracelet so it's probably a TWB (maybe from BK). Also the crown position is a dead giveaway and the rehaut is a little too wokky.

By the looks of the sticker it's just a plain old noob.

Look again at the first couple seconds. The rehaut isn't that bad. Very slightly different from gen. If it's a noob, which I doubt, the early original noobs had a thinner bottom CG than the top one and the crown was too large and also the insert was a much darker green.

You can change the crown and the insert but you can't make the CG's look the same. You can see the CG difference and also the large crown on this old style noob. Also, the noob never came with solid mid links on the bracelet.

Second picture will show the darker green color of the noob insert.

2nd is the rep - no doubt. The CGs are too long and pointy, and the rehaut is a bit wokky.
HOWEVER - it's not a bad rep and would be completely passable to all byut the most WIS Rolex experts.

Exactly, the only ones who would notice are the experts on our replica fora (notwithstanding Rolex dealers themselves). What's that, like 0.0000001% of the world population? xD

Yeah, the SS surrounds on the dial markers scream rep, you can tell even from the paused screen.

Having said that, though, it's not a bad rep at all.

Second one is rep, and just a regular rep, not even a nobfactory one.
...The rehaut and crystal appearance where it meets the insert are definitely ugly compared to a noobfactory one.

Plus, the rehaut on noobfactory ones isn´t as deep.

I have that same model (and a noobfactory too), it´s quickly shown on my signature. :)

Cheers,
Spirit.

+1, me, too! Seconds hand sweep on first is smoother than the second LV.

Good eye, COL.
