Looks like both the Barakuda and Milspec are limited editions of 500 with the same case-back. I see now why they decided to make these two models.

puretime : Can you please ask ZF factory if they can also replicate the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC Limited Edition for HODINKEE? It is even simpler to replicate than the normal Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC Limited Edition.

Pretty different from the regular fifty Fathoms- 40mm vs 45mm, date at 3 instead of 4, painted white hands and rectangular indices, different crown guars and case shape etc The Barracuda is more "retro" styled after the 50's Blancpains
