Isn't the cyclop crooked a little bit?
i dunno....i'm kinda paranoid about cyclop being crooked since i had 5 different sub which ALL had crooked cyclop... :twisted: :lol:
other than that, it looks damn good to me~

I think it's pretty straight. But it doesn't look centered on the date window maybe because of the camera angle. It looks like a straight frontal shot. But it might not be.

That's a pretty good looking sub. I'd still trim the insides of the crown guards and probably put in a gen crown and tube, I'm just not too keen on the crown. But I can live with the pearl/bezel insert. Good rehaut, and date window location.

That's one thing that bugs me about most TT subs (yes I can see I know this isn't a TT model), is that the rehaut looks too shallow in them. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no TT with the correct rehaut. I own the "honpo" or "taiwan best" whatever it's called (the "new" model king has or what have you) and the rehaunt looks shallow. I'll have to look at a gen, but I thought the rehaut on all modern subs was quite deep compared to the typical and late model knockoff, short of the MBW because I've never held one of those. Correct me if I'm wrong?

All modern Sub reps have the wrong rehaut. The only way round it would be to make one with a 2893.
ahh I didn't know all this, and I thought polex usually was when the factory didn't finish the R, that's hidden anyway. So that's the infamous MBW that accepts gen parts?

The only thing that I would consider changing is:
The cyclops alignment (obvious)
The date wheel alignment (date does not look centered - low)
Pearl looks flat
Modern 16610 sub should have the "Swiss Made" that covers 5 minute markers not 3

As far as I know MBW's come with a solid mid link braclet and I would change that to the updated hollow link bracelet.
Would I wear it - Heck Yeah!!!!! It is one nice watch.

he is talking about a member bought a mbw TT sub from another seller (not ttk) but looks like that mbw-tt-sub is not a real mbw (aka polex)
btw.....when people say mbw rolex accept gen parts...they refer to vintage model like 1665/1680 ....etc
