You Get A Rolex For A Present When Do You Wear?

I had a question let's say you get a Sub C for your birthday. It is more of a sports watch would you wear it with dress clothes or a suit? It is real so that is cool or do you wear a rep

Funny... I just put mine on and I told myself I'd probably buy the gen. Its just sits so perfectly on my wrist. Hopefully in a couple years the price comes down! Sheesh.

The ceramic bezel gives it a nice formal touch for a suit... and the diver design makes it blend well with jeans and a T-shirt.

If I got a gen sub c as a present i would wear the shit out of it. You just can't beat that gen bezel... its unreal.

Then I'd either buy a gen that I really like, or a couple of reps and put the remainder into savings.

Gotta say rubbish on this. Rolex's, especially the subs are the perfect tool watch for wearing every single day to every single activity. Sure you might want to take it off if you are sticking your arms in buckets of cement or something. Other than that, i'd happily wear one every day.

I agree... granted I think Rolex has gone down a different path with the tool watch look.... it ain't very toolish anymore.

As for a gen sub c... my God that watch is sexy as hell. No sub c rep can even touch the gen.
