Recently @yodog fixed a GW 1665 that needed serious attention. I bought it from a fellow forum member in February and it was a basket case. I sent it off for repair and after 5 months of waiting, the watchsmith said it was outside of his ability. Sent to @yodog and within a few days it was like a brand new watch. He replaced the movement among many, many other things. Now, I t looks great, the date function works flawlessly, it is not loose in its case, it keeps great time. It’s as good as a rep gets.
I then sent him three other watches: a 5513 for reluming, insert work, and straightening the dial; a 1665 SRSD for winding issues; and a red 1680 for insert work. They all came back as new and functioning great ….in less than a week. He is a fantastic communicator and a wonderful resource for the RWI Forum.
I can’t say enough good things about @yodog The service was First Class.
THANK YOU @yodog !!!!
