The problem had been that this model has seconds at 3.

There is post on this forum about a new movement (well... modified) have the second hand at 3, so
I guess it's possible.

I also never liked this model, and I hear it's pain in the @$$ to switch out the straps.

The movement JOEx3 mentions is the "new" version of the 7750... seconds at 3, big honkin date window capable... It appears that this rep finally could be done well.
Time will tell how durable the newest addition to the 7750 line holds up... this could be a nice rep... I know its wanted by many.

And why would it be such a pain to switch straps... isn't it just tubes/screws like the luminor cased pams?... If its different, how is it different?
