Yet another 243 thread

Well guys and gals, I can unequivocally say that switching out my 029 for the 243 was the right choice for me! I loved my 029 so very much, but I somehow longed for something more rough .. less refined ... something that would go to 1000ft?

Sead was the supplier of this beautiful rep. I can't believe the quality of the case, markers, bezel action. It's all true. If you're on the fence about noobs 243, then just hop on over. The quality is astounding and definitely on par with the 029. I don't feel i'm wearing a rep honestly, it's that good (for me).

I took a few quick photos (it took a lot of willpower to get it off my wrist), it's been photographed a ton, so nothing new here ... just thought i'd share:

Agree, love mine too & just not how I expected a rep to be.

Think getting it as my first rep has probably spoiled me!

I can see how that would happen.

I put mine on black strapculture leather thinking i'd like it more than the rubber. Spent a couple hours with it and now it's back on the rubber. I think I need to go with something reddish brown for the strap.

wotancraft has some nice but pricey options, thinking about going with a maliostrap. Haven't seen anything like the "lava" model on the other asian strap maker sites.

Checkout Tootall's blue steal strap! I'm thinking of getting that one for mine! It's the first rep that I like this much since I got my 111n! Next is the 029 and a 292! I'm thinking of getting rid of all my other reps and sticking to these superb 1:1 Panerai reps!

Actually just put an order in for this

Somehow I like the combination of the reddish brown and the dark edges ... Hope it looks good on the 243 ... or else another strap sales haha
