Docrolex How do you now it's a fake? From the pictures, I couldn't even tell it's a Rolex...?

Why would anyone put up such pictures for a sale?

Because the gold plating is worn in many places. Gen. Rolex gold parts are always solid (ok , there existed a gold capped 15xx Date with 34 mm) and the case is solid steel, the one in the photos seems to be brass and chrome plated. And, believe me, if one takes such bad pics to sell a rolex, its always a scam. People selling real Rolex are very couraged to take sharp and detailed photos to encourage peaople bidding high on their watch.

First, I was tempted to bid on it. Because according to German law, if one sells a Watch as real and you receive a fake, you have the right to get a real Watch, becouse you assumed to be bidding on a real watch. But this one was in Austria, I dont know their laws, and in the end, 1500 Euros was too risky for me.

Im from germany too and this only applies when the person who sells the fake is able to pay.. unfortunately many broke people do internet scams, they have high debts anyways and there is nothing to take from them :-(
