Yowza! Just one ..... I'm in enzo's camp that these are .. ahem .. divergent, shall we say, from OP's tradition (some good EUR though I expect), but I would consider purchasing one good one for fun's sake.

Then have to fend off the awkward queries about my lack of machinery from Maranello.

I think there's a good chance they will rep it.... I compare the yellow one with my 0008 Chrono, the case, crown, pushers, dial ring (Tachymeter), min/hr hand are all the same. Looks like the only different is the dial and Chrono hand.

When a couple of the 4 on order come in from you TTK I will sure as hell place an order for this one!

(4 is just my self imposed limit to be waiting for at one time, from abroad- I am not trying to be an ass with this statment!!) with customs and all other dangers to the rep in transit.....I don't want too many eggs in one basket!

I don't know if it is urban legend or not............but supposedly , in the US, if you get popped once by customs your name goes into a database and ALL your foreign packages get checked there after..

ALL I need would be for the very first one to get popped and all the others to follow with no way to stop shipment of them.

i had 4 rollies seized at dfw about 2 years ago and i have never had anything else bothered.

I thinkk to get put on a watch list run by Customs....you'd have to do something a little more serious than importing a copy watch......never had any problems...other than the usual theft ....or at least one being stopped by Customs and someone having to pay a few dollars extra in duty....!
