I remember last year ordering a watch, and my TD racing to fill my order before the start of the Chinese New Year. Things come to a near standstill as people are busy with family and partying. This year (2024) it starts Feb. 9th, which is Chinese New Years eve, and runs until the 24th -the lantern festival. China has 8 days when businesses shut down., but it's really a 16 day party.
