High guys, itching to pull the trigger on this one. Been reading some threads, post showing an array of options you can do with this watch regarding all the variation you could achieve with different patinas. What a beautiful watch!
Any of you guys think they may produce a v3 with the clone movement or is this as far as they will go and stick to the a7750 version.
Replies from the experienced Pam dudes will be much appreciated to help me with my decision wether to wait a while longer.

I'd like to see a version with a clone movement, however, it probably is not in the cards as of the moment for a few reasons:

1. P.9010 based PAMs just came out and factories don't know if the market which is already saturated with P.9000 based PAMs will be receptive of these new models.
2. The A7750 movement which has improved over time is a good match for the P.9010 movement with the balance wheel at the same location, which has long been an issue with the P.9000 based PAMs. Factories probably have a ton of these movements, and with the introduction of the P.9000 visual clone movement, are still viable with just the addition of plates to make them look like the new movement.
3. Unless the movement factories produce a clone function movement with the balance wheel @11, I don't think they'll develop a new movement basing on the lukewarm response to the clone P.9000, which copied the function of the gen, but the balance wheel was @9 and it introduced a slight offset in the subdial.

All of the factors above are purely based on business reasons, and the factories are, first and foremost, a business. The further improvement of the P.9010 movement is probably going to be a victim of the law of diminishing returns as it doesn't look like it will result to larger profits for the factories should they decide to move forward with the development. But, as with everything, we can dream.

Cheers, think I'll end up getting the v2 a7750 as I don't think I'll be able to wait for something that might not even happen and if it does would be a few months or more from now. Think you just made my mind up mysterio. Ah dam, the wallet is almost floating it's so light of late! [emoji85][emoji23]

I mentioned in another post that since I joined this forum it has had a serious effect on my future pension fund. But then again if need be even reps sell quite easily on here.

I would also go with the A7750.
It's a very solid base movement without the Chronos.

That's it then, I having it. Thing is do I try to hold out till next month as I've just recently purchased as few. Then 2 days ago snapped up one of the city limit editions KW pam 411 Firenze off Toro as they were on special offer at only $129 as I didn't have a luminor 44mm base model. So a steal really in my eyes.
