X-33 Skywalker (SpaceX Dragon watch)

I watched the recent launch of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon a few days ago. I recently learned that both astronauts were wearing Omega’s X-33 Skywalker, a watch designed for modern space flight.

I would be very interested in buying such a rep if the digital display was properly backlit. Seems like a fairly easy watch to rep considering it’s quartz and digital.

Hopefully there is interest.

i guess to the layman, it seems like a fairly easy thing to put a man into space, but it really isn’t. The same for repping a multifunction quartz analogue and digital display. I guess this is why watches that have been around for a considerable time like the Breitling Aerospace, or the Victorinox XlS MT, which have similair design and movements, have not been repped either.

Bob behnken wore the x33 gen 2. which can be found for a reasonable price still.

Regardless if a rep or not is available, this is a really cool watch. The history and and functionality behind it all is pretty fascinating!

Astronauts don’t use this version, but the older one. Just x-33. Anyway they repped the solar impulse version, but now is discontinued and impossible to find out.
I tried, then i bought the gen.

The ESA uses x33 skywalker, whereas NASA uses gen 2

No way, they repped the solar impulse, which was a limited edition of the skywalker. And then they discontinued, you can only save for the gen
