Would you wear an homage to a Panerai launch party?

I made a really really nice 3646 homage with a period appropriate sterile dial years ago. I used a Molnija 3601. I was invited to a Panerai watch release party at a local panerai boutique. Would anybody wear an homage? Of course I would tell them that I made it and I was thinking it might be a good conversation piece, but I was also thinking it might just be a bad idea.

Unless you are on good terms with everyone attending, and I mean everyone, I would not risk it. it just takes one person to react negatively to the homage and it might spoil the mood. Do you want to be responsible for that, be marked for all eternity and do you want that to be your last invite? Your reply will be the answer to your opening question.

Unfortunately some Panerai fanboys are rather delicate creatures and may start offending you saying it's not an homage but a fake. Seen similar scenes in the past, so definitely no unless you are a well known member of the local community that has many other PAMs
