My mini fiddy........neat watch. I bought it from TWP long ago, then sent it to vac for VACLUME. Here are a couple of pics. The first two are the mini fiddy. The 3rd is a full size fiddy just for comparison.I currently have a PAV 91 strap from elliott on it, but no pics. This pic has the HK TAN velcro. 7.5 inch wrist.

it supposedly shipped today!

Drawbacks are it's not superlumed and it's missing the words "officine panerai" on the movement. 2 dealers have mentioned this to me already so i'm just gonna ssume the mini's are coming like that. to me, it wouldn't matter too much anyways since a mini-fiddy is pretty much a fantasy model :)

i'm half and half about superlumin' it - would love to, but part of me might be looking into vintaging it for fun.

It could come in wednesday or thursday! OH BOYS!

@iSCH: the minis are 44 mm fantasy models to its big brother 47 pam127 (fiddy)

Man!!! Everytime I see that mini-Fiddy with the Cali dial, I fall inlove......I gotta have one of these after the 127 comes in.

That thing is simply a beauty~!!!! Just curious, who would be able to build something like that and what kind of $$ am I looking at? :D

I would talk to vaccum if I was you.

I built that one. The dial/hands/movement came from a vintage Radiomir from Joshua, about $200 delivered at the time, IIRC. Plus another $80 for the mini-Fiddy case. $20 or so for the plexi after shipping. Then a few bucks for vac to throw it all together.

Figure more than $350, probably slightly less than $400 after it's all said and done.

Projects get expensive in a hurry.

Thanks for the heads up, you're right about the cost of these projects. It does add up to a great sum, but all in all....great fun too~! That's probably one of the joys in this hobby....or in any hobby that is.

I think I'll start off by sourcing a mini-fiddy case and CG. The rest I'll keep an eye on the trade section to see if any good deals come up.

Cheers~

Crick, I had the USPS guy deliver mine to the same physical address......only one block north. The delivery confirmation showed it being delivered, and it was, just the wrong house!  I went to the guys house on a hunch, sure enough he had it. "I have been meaning to take this to the post office, just never got around to it." This was two weeks later.

I sent a strap to a guy.....usually 3, 4 days max.........took 4 weeks.

Hopefully it is still floating around..............sorry to hear this crick.
