Being a long time Mr.Stallone Big Fan , I discovered the italian Panerai watches design in his movie Daylight (1996)
i was VERY intrigued but the case crown design , i liked it immediatelly but , at that time , didnt know about the reps universe and not having the funds
to purchase a panerai watch , i never made more research about that and the dust settles just like that...
But in 2008 , with the release of his latest Rambo installment : JOHN RAMBO (IV) BAM !!!!!! The Pam design hit my face & heart AGAIN with the Pre-V 5218-202a
its THE Watch that made me make a lots of web research about the Panerai company and made me discovered the replica universe too , making me
subscribing 3-4 Replica watches forums and having spend so many hours in front of our portable , making my wife come mad more than one time !!
Meanwhile , Watching the 3x "Expendables" Panerai Party flicks just make me drooling like a ******* war dog
The 202a is still my main unfinished project , I have sooo many parts and even a custom Pre-V wood box & pillow just for it , i take time to make it right
but i dont have the time i would want to finish the project , but step by step ...one of theses day , my holy grail will be completed & will do a complete review
of my version , even if a lots of Pre-V fan have already have made them in an awesome manner !
....but I go far from my initial thought , making a lots and lots of reading since 2008 , I falled in love with ONE Specific Panerai watch !
the ONE that if correctly made by someone\TD\Factory would end me strapping it to my wrist until i die...
---I have a heart crush for the Omega Ploprof , but only end wearing it when im at the beach\diving
---I had an immediate heart crush for the 438 (just wow , one badass manliest watch ever made , but the dial made for purist , miss a little something
for someone who work everyday with the need of a usefull & highly readable chrono tool
Im not a big fan of chrono watches with the only exception of the Omega Speedmaster of course ( CLASSIC among Classics)
but ask me why , i could not answer WHY i have such a PASSION about the 317 ...maybe its because to my eyes , the Pam 317
