So, I've been a bit of a jerk lately and not posted any reviews for the work he's done! Basically @Solution6 has been my go to now for watches (even though I've yet to do anything too major) for a while now. He recently upgraded a BP16600 (with the 3135 movement) by servicing it, installing a gen bezel insert, gen hands, and gen date wheel. The work, as always, was done to a level commiserate to any of the brands I've sent off to for their own in house servicing. But communications and collaboration were infinitely better. A nice thing with Solution6 is that even when there's an issue he's up front, clear, and solution (no pun intended) based. The gen crown was warped from the seller (who refunded me in full) as Solution6 realized it wasn't the one from the advert. The crystal didn't fit into the BP case properly (this was a pre LEC) so that was a no go too.

I have 5 more watches worth of work to be done. But the most important thing here is that, unlike others, he is more than clear on timeframe and expectations. So if it's a 2 week wait before he can get to it, he lets you know before hand. If it'll take him 4 weeks to finish the work for whatever reason wants he gets the watch; he lets you know. Other than quality of work, it seems the number 1 risk that we have in this hobby is working with watchmakers who take on too much work and don't manage these expectations. I don't believe there's any risk of that here.

I'd highly recommend @Solution6 for anyone UK based. If you've got "keepers" as part of your rep collection, or need work done on gen movements, then he's the guy for this!
