“3646 with crown protecting device”
Ever since I saw the post on Perezcope concerning this ultra rare transitional Panerai, I couldn’t get it out of my head, and had to build it.
As far as I know, nobody had built a homage to this exceptional watch, so I sure hope I’m the first, and I sincerely hope I did a good job.
Specs:
Alix 47 Radi case, drilled & reshaped to take the dumbo crown guard
Standard caseback, “Panerai brev.” Stamped
Rivet dial, alu and finished by me
Brass hands
6152-1 crown, brass tube
Custom made stem
Cortebert cal 532
Handmade strap and sewn-in GPF mod dep buckle

All the watches posted here are beautiful. I absolutely love the face coloring/texturing with the octopus logo watch. Would you create this face dial with MM?
I would be interested in a 42mm build, with the dial also ”deepsea treasure” style !!!
