Anyone wanting catalogues should know all current are available from OP by mail or download...just check out the website.

Some catalogues are rare but you need to know which ones are worth money...and how much they are worth.

There are many OP goodies that are sold by guys for greed and profit so be very careful.. and check before you commit

The general catalogues, plus SE cats etc are pretty common... dealer catalogues, SIHH catalogues, pre marketing, internal press releases tend to attract interest as do pre 2005 stuff but more notably pre 2001 and before and of course PreV, PreA so original OP and Cartier literature.

Then of course magazines like the 2 volumes of Panerai style and the Eng Dino Zei bible 'Panerai Firenze' are the most useful reference literature available readily. Of course there are other books...but they aint worth nothing more than curio..

But remember NO catalogue should be used to compare or contrast any model in your hand including pics on OP website.... they are intentionally different due to anti counterfeiting, prototype, CGI etc etc

So Please do not use them as reference to reps in any circumstances...

In the same way it is daft to use different pics to compare model details (rep/Gen etc)... as light, angles all vary slightly or even considerably...

It would be niave to try to compare watch pics together and try to state that a detail is comparable or judgeable against each other. It is nothing more than a guide and a weak one at that.

And should never be relied upon as anything more than an aid in very general terms..
