Wohoooo, just a PAM251 from my local dealer!

I have recently purchased a very nice PAM 251.
My initial impression on the watch is that it is very closed to the Gen.
Mine is similar to the current version sold by our forum dealers.

The flaws that I have noticed so far:

(1) Lume dot on dial is too closed to the edge of dial. Spacing too small. Should have a bigger gap.
(2) Backcase is almost there compared to the gen, except of the additionnal ltd edition number is not supposed to be there.
(3) Lume on the hands is better that the dial indices. (typical rep lume ~ which I will have it done with Vac hopefully)
(4) the date on dial is suken in. This is the only obvious flaw that I can see. (hopefully a date wheel change can help ~ not sure if Vac can help me with it)
(5) Rep leather strap is too short for me. The deployment bucke is cutting my wrist. (will change to a solid croc leather with a normal buckle instead)

Does anyone have a PAM 251 which is fully modded? Keen to hear what you have done to it...... Thx!

Sadly a datewheel swap won't make it any less sunken. The only fix for that is a Swiss movement swap....

I am thinking about swapping the A7750 to a Swiss 7753.
I believe Swiss 7753 is the correct movement. Please correct me if I am wrong. And where do get the movement?
Also not sure who can help me, Ziggy or Vac? or someonelse
Will probably do a complete lume makeover. Doubt I can do much on the caseback.....

Yes, the 7753 would be the correct movement. I sourced one from Angus/PureTime last summer, I don't know if he can still get any or not. You could always try watch supply houses like Ofrei or Jules Borel or Cousins UK.

I don't think vac does any work with chronos, so it'd have to go to Ziggy. You could always email vac and ask him, though. No, there's not much you can do about the case back...
