Wish I found RWI sooner

Before I found this site and its wealth of info I ordered a tag grand carrera with "Swiss eta" movement from Megawatch.cn. I see it's not a TD and that worries the hell out of me. I'm positive I overpaid I just hope what shows up on my doorstep isn't a total pos . Has anyone ever dealt with them before? I can deal with the overpaying part as that was entirely my fault I just hope the watch is decent quality. I have searched hard online to find reviews and issues with the company but to date I haven't found much. Payments are processed through ORE llc in the us and item ships from china. I am not optimistic regarding what I'm going to get

I'll go a step further from you. Before I joined our wonderful forum, I used to buy some watches from street vendors in Canal in NY, and Santee in LA. Now, talk about overspending for low quality watches!!

My fingers are crossed that it isn't a total bust. From what I paid I could have been purchasing a very nice quality for the same price or possibly cheaper from our TDs. Since joining I have placed an order with puretime and have an order pending with intime. I have much more confidence in the TD's here after lurking the forums here. I'll keep this thread updated about my unfortunate purchase once it arrives. I received the shipped email today

I feel your pain dude. I spend 650$ buying a rep Swiss rolex sub from perfect watches. It worked fine to me and I had no problems with it. I finally dropped it and then I went searching for how to repair it. This is how I found rwi.

I showed it to the guys here and they just laughed at how awful it was. [emoji58] It looks beautiful and stuff, but as I learned more about the details I realized more and more things were wrong with it. It's pretty far off from the gen.

I ended up buying another watch from our td and taking that old Rolex and asking one of the TD to take the movement out and repurpose it on an older Rolex v6 hulk.

I've been waiting 3-4 weeks now. I can't wait.

Ouch. It's bad but I've seen worse. I love the overly-visible LEC.

OP if you paid Megawatch.cn with a credit card. You may still have time to cancel the transaction with your bank. Seriously consider that option. How much are we talking here ? How much did you pay ? It's highly likely what you receive (if anything arrives at all) will be total shit and sub par. Why accept that fate ?
