Wise Verification

Hello,

I am not sure if this exact question has been asked, but putting if out there anyway. If someone used Wise to transfer and all went well from start to finish, and then went to do the same again a few weeks later, and they were asked to verify with drivers license or documents before Wise would send a transfer the second time, is this normal? Just wondering, as it would seem a little strange, and wondered if it had ever happened to anyone.

Wise will ask for a million different documents when you change the country after 4 years of using the app with another country successfully, then accuse you of money laundering, decline the transaction despite several attempts after basically sending them every type of document known to man, from your own birth certificate to your auntie Trudeliesel's death certificate from the 16th century, announce erratically that your account is now "locked until the end of times" and if you spontaneously decide, after 15 minutes or so, to just test whether transfers to the other, previously successful receiver-country no longer work, will suddenly pretend as if they never accused you of money laundering and magically transfer the funds (in multiple amounts as opposed to the unsuccessful attempt, mind you) totally normal and stress-free, without any new verifications or documents demanded from you.

So yeah, like @Jxwatch1 said, it's totally normal for Wise... Because if you let AIs and algorithms make the decisions for your Fin Tech app, not humans, because you want to save labor costs, this is the kind of BS that goes on...
