Just made my first rep purchase with Andiot. For the life of me I can't figure out how to pay with Wise. I can't pay using a bank account because he didn't give me a routing number.

The only other option is sending money through the "Transfer Calculator?" Is this how i send the money? Do I pay in US Dollars? What currency do I pay in - HKD, PHP, CNY???

Can anyone who has paid Andiot using Wise please help me out! I am absolutely stumped!!

Why not just use Paypal like the rest of the world!??

All I know is that I've heard extremely mixed things about Wise and will never use it. PP for me (or domestic wire transfer in my country) or no deal. Just not getting into other apps.

I think you can have the seller send an invoice to your wise account. That said, my US bank kept refusing my attempts to send money to one seller via Wise because it was triggering some fraud protection protocol.

The currency you choose to pay will define the fields that Wise asks you.

You can tell him to give you his AliPay Number and you pay in CNY to him, in USD or EUR on your side.

Very helpful.

Another member has already given you the link that clearly explains why TDs here don’t accept PP as a payment method, contrary to your claim that it’s “like the rest of the world.” For the record, what’s actually in line with the rest of the world is Wise and Revolut — both widely used and popular, so simple that even the average person knows how to use them. Maybe educate yourself a little better? Or have you never heard of IBAN, the tags on Wise, or usernames on Revolut that allow seamless money transfers? Seriously, catch up.

I gave up using Wise. Wouldn't accept a transfer from my business account. And wouldn't accept a transfer from my old personal account because it had "trading as" attached to my name. I gave up and think I used PP or Western Union because I'd bought from the TD before and he was willing to allow me to pay by any method I could. It all went smoothly.

Having said that, I went to my local Western Union office to do the transfer there and the questions I was expected to answer were just ridiculous. So I went home and did it online. No hassles. Although my Bank did call me within a minute of the transaction. They just wanted to know if it was actually me making the transfer.

I guess you told me....consider me scolded...

"FOR THE RECORD" - I have never bought a rep watch in my life - and this is like my 7th post on here so I am obviously new to this game. Rather than assuming that everyone know exactly what you know - perhaps some patience and guidance would serve you a little better.

Every other transaction I have ever done outside the US has been w paypal. My wife buys TONS of purses, clothing, wallets and jewelry from outside of the country and every seller we have ever dealt with has accepted Paypal.

And as far as educating myself a little better - that's exactly why I joined this form. To educate myself. Your initial snarky post did nothing to educate me. And I have seen - through my education on this forum - other people have had problems using Wise as a payment method. I guess we are all not as "average" as you are.

Woodyb130 - Thank you for the help!! Just what I needed and exactly the types of responses I was hoping for when I joined here. Very much appreciated!!

WU has an app too.. transactions in seconds right from your phone. Super easy and convenient. 😊

For the record, my rep journey started here a little less than two years ago, but my Wise account has been around since the days when it was still called “TransferWise.” This isn’t some shady money laundering scheme or a borderline illegal finance group — it’s a fully legitimate fintech platform. I’ve been using it to wire money to my daughters while they were studying in Korea, sparing myself from the sky-high transfer fees of traditional banks.

I am sorry to hear about finding difficulty of using wise

Here below is the link guide for clients how to use the wise, its the example not the correct bank information, and they are all in HK DOLLAR not China Yuan

We also attached correct bank information below the wise payment instruction, which is different from this example link but same way of adding the recipient.

So far we have been receiving this way never had issues from 97% of clients who choose to use wise.
