Winding Question?

My Pam seems to be working just fine, but I didn't Wind it at all. I simply gave it a few slow shakes and have been wearing it. Can't figure out how to Wind it. When I release the latch and unscrew it, then try to Wind it clockwise the Date changes. This seems to be the lowest level while unscrewed. There doesn't seem to be a level in which to Wind the Watch? Is that just how it is suppose to be? No Winding needed, a few shakes and your good to go? Either way its no big deal as long as the Watch is working, but I would just like to know.

Any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Sounds like the automatic rotor is working fine (inside the watch). When your crown is in normal position, you can wind it clockwise, though you shouldn't if it's running. If it's been off your wrist or a winding machine a couple days, wind it say 10x to get it started. When the crown is pulled out to first position, clockwise changes the date, counter-clockwise moves the GMT hand. Pulled out to the next stop, that changes the time. Nice watch, BTW.

After you release the latch try to wind without pulling the crown out.

Unscrew it? There should be nothing to unscrew. You open the lever and that should be the winding position. Out one position is the date change, the 3rd position is to set the time.

Hooligan, you were on the money, that worked. I just wasn't use to a Watch without unscrewing. Thanks!
