Winding my new PAM312

Just arrived today and I'm over the moon with it. Beyond my expectations!

Anyway I'm worried about winding it. I've never really had a Watch like this. Previous was an Apple Watch [emoji51]

I've wound it a bit and I am wearing it now and all seems ok. I've read somewhere that you can't overwind an automatic. Is that true?

How do I know when it is fully wound? How many turns? Should there be resistance? Should it last 3 days without winding?

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you intend to wear it constantly, it's only necessary to wind it up just a bit, a jump start as it were. The flywheel will do the rest from the movement of your wrist. I've only had a 2824 before and it had a slipping mechanism to prevent over winding, so hopefully the case with yours too. No idea about the power reserve. Enjoy it in good health. It's a beautiful watch indeed. I'm slightly regretting my still awesome 111.[emoji2]

Thanks for the reply. All seems well so far. I'll wear it the rest of the week. However I did originally plan to wear it only at weekends! Seems it'll be on my wrist a lot more [emoji1303]

You can't overwind it... it should be fully wound after a full day on the wrist.

It is an automatic so normally you shouldn't need to wind the whole way - just enough for it to start from cold and then just wear it. Is it a Seagull or A7750?

It's the new PAM312 with the P9000 movement.

The main spring has a clutch. So you can't overwind it, don't worry.
To full wind it just turn the crown ~20 times
