I have lurked and this community; traded, bought, sold for years. I have never understood if / when a specific model watch might become available. I would love to see the new IWC Mark XX released but I wonder if anybody apart from the factories would know if this one is even being considered. Some of the choices for new releases (not IWC) are often shocking for how gaudy they are, but then they will deliver a remarkably accurate IWC chrono that is simply stunning. I will keep an eye out for the Mark XX but I don't believe that there are any rules that are remotely reliable. If there are rules; they are probably determined by the market (Rolex, Panerai being dominant) and other brands being secondary. I'm guessing here. It may be way too early to expect this one to appear in the rep circles. Fingers crossed.

Perhaps eventually, rep factories haven't even come out with the Big Pilot 43 which is quite simple. Maybe there's not that much money in it.

That makes much more sense. Thank you. Great looking watch though. Hope a Mark XX comes out soon too. Although I agree it's probably very low on the factories list. Not a big money maker I bet.

Well, the IWC Mark (...) series is a classic, so I guess there would be enough potential buyers. I could also imagine that the evolution from a Mark XVIII replica to one of the Mark XX would not be so difficult for the factories. Also, the engraving of the ol´ Junkers Ju 52/3m on the case back is already there.

That is pretty good to know! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing these arrive at TDs and seeing the reviews roll in. From the pictures it looks pretty good.

The V7F does sound like a very nice option, looking forward to these popping up at TD’s

looks too much like a mark18, if you already own one i doubt its worth spending for a mark20

I was told by my TD that the V7F replica of the IWC Mark XX will be available in a few days for USD 408.

They have updated slightly the dial and the lug to lug width but overall I agree wih you, such a insignificant upgrade.

I asked Andrew at Trustytime yesterday but haven’t had a response yet. I hope these show up soon.

I noticed on the Mk XVIII that’s it’s a $250 uplift for the SW200 movement, I don’t have experience of these, do you think it’s worth the upgrade for such a simple movement?

No, personally I would never opt for it.

The news item and pictures over at reddit read and show that they repped the EasX-Change system. Being able to switch between strap and bracelet more effortlessly would be interessting to me. I have not checked it out in detail, but it looks like it might even work with previous models as it seems to snap to the spring bars? If so, i would love to upgrade my XVIII with such a new bracelet.

OK, after checking the IWC site, this seems to be the case. Now i'm really curious if V7F will do also the bracelet and a selection of straps...

The Reddit link posted above does mention the easy exchange straps so I was assuming they had included this in the new version.

It’s definitely something that would interest me if it was included, it’s maybe also pave the way to the long outstanding 43mm Big Pilot as that has had the system since it’s initial release.
