Will we ever see a Polaris Chronograph?

Having seen all the recent photos and videos of this watch, I think it’s stunning. Is it a watch that’s likely to be repped, or shall I start putting money aside for the gen?

Even if they do rep it, it will probably be thick, and mid tier factory. Just a guess.

There are certain limits to what rep producers can pull off on a high level and some things they simply cannot or just refuse to do, for whatever reason that may be.

I do know one thing for sure though: A fancy watch I can't afford as gen I'd rather just continue enjoying by looking at photos of it then to embarrass myself by wearing it as a shitter.

Nothing worse than a shitter or even mid-tier copy of a 6-figure or more Patek or A. Lange Tourbillon, for example. 😂

PS: And I don't mean by that that it has to function as flex material. Almost 100% of people you encounter don't care what you wear on your wrist anyway. But I would be bothered and embarrassed by myself. I wear watches for my enjoyment and I don't enjoy a shitty, twice as thick, riddled with flaws shitter — unless I need to wear it as a beater for gardening work. 😆

I’ll start topping up the piggy bank then 😅

Polaris chrono with black or blue dial is listed on several dealer sites from HKF with A7750 movement. Jtime.io, for example, has them listed. Are these older reps, or bad reps? Is there a reason no one is discussing them?

In my opinion, HKF is not the best and the rep is real chonker.
GEN is 13.4mm, I think? The one from HKF is stated to be 15.8mm, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s actually even thicker.

OK. I see that the rep is actually the 44mm World Chrono. It looks okay to me, probably the best we can reasonably expect for a JLC chrono. Has anyone tried it yet? I don't see any reviews.

Well, looks like gen is Ti and rep is SS, so that's another issue.

Why they don't rep ANY of the two register chronos with an st19 instead of the 775x is beyond me- would gladly pay the likely small difference in pricing on the movement- it is thinner than a 775x, you get great reliability, and column wheel awesomeness.

Would gladly step down to 3hz for the upsides.
