I'm positive the Tang Buckle strap is 22/20, and I'm pretty sure the deployant is 22/18.

I'm pretty sure Breitling used to make their deployant clasp in only the 18mm size for watches with both 22mm and 20mm lugs. They had smaller sizes for ladies' watches (I paid lots for a gen 14mm for the wife) and perhaps bigger sizes for the Bentleys. I believe Breitling recently went to a 20mm deployant clasp size for use with the 22mm straps; I'm not sure if they still use the 18mm clasp with 20mm lug spacing...

That said, I believe the strap in the auction you linked is true to the genuine. But, I don't think the deployant strap is even offered with the Navitimer... Even if it isn't, the Navitimer is 22mm, so the 22x18 strap will fit your watch, and given that the high bid on some of these auctions is $30-$35, I don't think you can go wrong buying one of these.

If you can get one for $30 plus $5.75 shipping, BUY IT!

I made a mistake and said the 22x18mm strap will fit - I meant 22x20. The strap on the Ebay auction is 22x20, which would be correct if the Navi came with the deployant.

I agree, it certainly is a replica. It's supposed to be a crocodile skin strap, but the underside says "Cuir", which would be correct if this were a leather strap. So, it's a rep, but if you can get it for $30, I don't think you can go wrong.

odd... the navi gmt on my wrist has 24mm lugs... I had a 22mm breit strap standing by when I was waiting for this watch to arrive...
When it gets here... measured (twice) ... my lugs are 24mm.

Is that specific to the GMT navi? or is the GMT navi just a poor copy?

Been using a Hirsch strap from my pam collection until I can find something nicer to wear on this watch.


Edit: been off researching... the GMT Navi has 24mm lugs... standard Navi 22mm... answered my own question.

Most sites have the ability to read the location you came from. Most of our dealers here don't mind knowing that you came from RWI, but the gen folks, probably don't appreciate it.
