Will thickness issue be ever fixed?

As we all know, VSF (and other) Panerai reps are 1,5 mm - 2mm thicker than their gen counterparts. For example 42mm submersibles with P900 movement gen is 13.3mm thick, rep is 14.7 mm. 44 mm submersible with P900 gen is 13.5mm, rep is 15.5 - 17 mm. AFAIK this is because reps have Chinese P9000 clone, not P900 clone.

Is there any hope for getting rep of correct thickness in foreseeable future?

No. VSF doesn't care about Panerai reps anymore. p900 has been the standart Panerai movement for 5 years now. It's a pretty simple movement with just a date complication. However Panerai is just not relevant anymore. So why investing in cloning the movement. The brand is slowly fading into irrelevance, so the chinese won't bother with it.
Just release the new models with the same old clone and cash on that.

It's clear where the money is - Rolexes - Submariner, Daytona, GMT. AP, Patek.

The factories should focus on bringing the oldies back. Cheap luminors and radiomirs with 6497 movements repped 1:1. Is love a basic rad.

Have you already opened a help desk ticket to get your multi-account issue fixed? It's not allowed to have more than one account. I think I already told you that.

Usually that means that the forum's software detected another account from the same user, or at least it thinks it did.

Those systems are not 110% accurate all the time, so that's why I'm suggesting that you get it sorted out. An admin will look into it and remove the tag, for whatever reason it's being displayed.

As long as it's active, your account is potentially limited in its ability to post, at least at some point. That's why it needs to be investigated...
