will the watch less noisy after serviced??

I´ve just bought a Pam111n....i notice that it´s a little noisy, i work in a very quiet office and i can hear my watch...i am sensitive with Noise so if i notice it, i can not forget it and always pay attention to it :angry:....
if i get my watch serviced, oiled...would the what less noisy?:picard:

Maybe, but not necessarly. The 6497 is a strong movement, if you want a watch that sure will be more quite you need to go for a smaller movement, preferably Swiss.

I doubt it, a 6497 is a big, strong MVT but it's not that loud.
The only watch I have that is in the least intrusive is a MS tourby and it has a hell of a lot more bits rotating than a 6497. You must have one hell of a quiet office!

yes, i have a room in the Libruary where i am trying to finish my doctor thesis...it´s very quiet and i can hear my watch ticking....certainly it´s not that loud but if i noticed something, i´ll keep attention to it :frusty:

Get a Bulova with the Precisionist movement. It is exceptionally quiet because of the beat rate - its so fast there's only a very soft hum -- but only if you really listen very closely.
