Will a gen crown/stem fit a rep Moon Watch?

Does anyone know if a genuine stem/crown will fit an Omega Moon Watch rep (from Andrew)? I'm not sure if the stem would be too long.

Have you ever removed the movement from your Moon Watch? If so, how do you release the stem?

It's got a display back and is in perfect working order. I've never even taken the cover off! :shock:
