Does anyone know if a gen 5726 Dial will fit on a rep PF 5726?

would love to see the final product if you do this project
I’m definitely going to do it as long as someone (with more than 11 posts and/or with a definitive explanation) can confirm the gen Dial does work on the PF Rep. Gen white dial is starting around $2500 usd and the blue goes for $10k, I’m willing to spend $2500 as long as I have certainty that it will work.

Not like the white gen dial would look that much different. Now if the gen dial was <1k that is a different story. The hands would still give it away that it is a rep. Unless you buy gen hands and a gen movement somehow, that gen dial is just going to be like putting lipstick on a pig.

It would look vastly different. The location of the day/month date window relative to the lines is completely off in the rep, which makes the “PATEK PHILIPPE” look like it is placed too high. Immediate tell right on the center of the dial. For the 5711 a gen Dial is not worth it as the PPF dial is as good as it gets. On the 5726, the dial has many flaws and a gen Dial is absolutely worth it.

Looks to me like the day/month window is just in a different position, not just "relative to the lines". If so your day/month wheels won't be aligned with the windows on the gen

The rep also has the datewheel that is too sunken, which they're trying to dissimulate by adding a cyclop. I suspect it would look weird with your gen dial, if it aligns at all

Try doing a collage with Photoshop of the rep dial over/next to the gen one to see whether the windows align, if not then you can forget it

I wanted to do the same but I thought the moonphase and date window won’t match
