You want the v4. It's the latest version and runs on an a2824.

Make sure you soak the bracelet in baby oil overnight before you try to size it. It will prevent screws from getting stuck and stripping

Mine is fantastic. Just as a rule of thumb always soak your bracelet in baby oil and then wash with soap and water to get the dust and grime out of the links. Because the Chinese factors are not the cleanest. The grime gets in the screws and if you try to size the bracelet without soaking you can damage the screws.

There are tutorials on doing it. Some people even use dry lube meant for bicycle chains

Im looking to buy my first rep and do not want to pay more than $200 for the first one that I buy. I just want to make sure that everything goes smoothly before I purchase a more expensive rep. I was looking at the Heritage V2 version from intime. I understand that it is not as good as the V4, but what do people think about the V2 for the price?

The price difference is not the version, it is that one has a better quality movement.

I bought the v4 in january for $278. Less than two weeks later the movement died and it will cost $160 to service it. It's disappointing but with reps you have to accept that risk. So what I'm saying is expect that you might have the same problem, especially if you opt for the cheaper watch with a cheaper poorer movement.

BTW I would not get the cheaper version. What is your hesitation with spending $300 instead of $200?
