Just received my Pan 308 from Toro and apart from a scratch at the front bottom, it's fantastic. I'm wondering though why there's so little rep-posts about the 308, is this a lesser 'wanted' model?

I agree with Rob

That should not be a problem for you. If you like the watch and you can enjoy it ...
Why is it a problem if people doesn't talk about it?

Anyway, it is a model without available Firsts Class replicas until this moment. And with GEN manual winding like the old replicas fitted with Venus movement. Therefore we can say it is not a popular model. Although I think it has an awesome look.
Moreover, now when H maker introduces its replica puts into an Automatic movement instead of a manual one like the gen. This is very confortable but it is an inaccuracy for purists.
Read the PAM REVIEW-GUIDE for more info:
"Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection
As above said, the PAM 308 is an awesome looking watch and people will like it more and more.
Be the catalyst !!

PAM308-deficopiar.jpg

EVALUATION: (*) FIRST CLASS REP (H-maker) (see comments about movement)
The PAM 308 was a Unique Edition of 500 watches to celebrate the 2008 “Regatta†Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge.
From 2008 the Panerai Luminor Chrono 44mm new launchings continue being a full-sized version of the "traditional" 40mm chronographs, but the square pushers are replaced by cylindrical type chrono pushers like the 1950 Chrono series.
The PAM 308 has a beautiful Black Hobnail textured dial, brushed SS case and brushed SS bezel with tachymeter, feature constant seconds @9, the usual chrono centre seconds hand and only minute totalizer with blue marked previous five minutes before the starting of the Regatta. It has a new completely and exclusive movement: the manual winding OP XXVI.
There are good quality replicas of PAM 308 fitted by the very reliable Venus 75 manual movement.
On June 2012 H maker released a replica fitted with automatic A7750, impossible accuracy since the gen has Manual OP XXVI movement, but the general construction and finish is a First Class replica. Always bearing in mind the matter about an automatic movement instead a manual one. Due to this reason we cannot consider this PAM 308 a Super rep.
Leaving aside the cost of the Venus and some people who doesn’t want the manual, I don’t understand this decision from H maker. The PAM 308 is not either Flyback or Rattrapante chrono, therefore it would be possible to make an accurate replica with all chrono functions and, since the quality of H maker is almost assured, likely it would have been a Super rep. But fitted with an A7750 it can be just a First Class rep.

One thing I noticed is that the minute counter (the small dial on the right side) is (very) slightly misaligned when reset, it's just a tad too much to the left. Is this easy fixeable?
