Why is My Watching Running So Fast?

I have two replicas now.

The Noob GMT Master II CHS: this one had the classic movement problem where the hour hand would begin to lag. It would keep nearly perfect time at I think +/- 4 seconds a day. However, after getting it repaired by the Noob factory, the time graph showed it at +8 seconds a day. Not too shabby I thought. This hasn't been the case now that I have it back. It gains well about 20-27 seconds or so in less than 24 hours.

The Noob Yacht-Master 116655 A2836 showed a time graph of +5 seconds a day. Again, not too bad. The watch actually has been gaining much more than that—probably around 15-20 seconds in a little under 24 hours.

Is this normal? Will it start to slow down some? As a novice, would it be easy to regulate to more accurate timekeeping?

You could get it serviced. Some of my AP's kept perfect time in the beginning and now run 2 minutes too fast per day. Will have to get it serviced / regulated as well.
Nothing else you can do, to my knowledge.

Position will affect time keeping, dial up typically runs the fastest.

I really don't want to have to get it serviced. So nothing I can really do myself? 2 minutes is awful; I'm sorry to hear that!

Mods, please change the thread title to "Watch." Autocorrect got the best of me.

Have you tried regulating it? There are good tutorials here on how to do it.

Hey Teddy, I just used the search function but came up empty handed. Do you mind sharing a link to one of the tutorials ?

Here's one thread on it. You should have a modified version of this movement in the GMT and the same movement in the yachtmaster. Hardest part will be opening the caseback. Try duct tape, sticky side out. Be sure and hack the movement...if you touch the balance shaft while it's running you will damage the movement.

20 - 27 seconds a day too fast ? - that's the norm for most Seikos. Try regulating it, doesn't need a service.

20 secs per day is nothing major Being a GMT CHS it would be better if it ran slow, because they don't like any anticlockwise adjustment.

GMT CHS from Noob is a 2824 . But should be the same to regulate.

Yeah open it up and adjust the regulator with a needle nose plier. It's not too difficult.

I couldn't find where the screw or lever was on my GMT Master. It was easy to find and adjust on my YM. I guess the movement is decorated differently. Anyone have a pic or description of where it's at?

We are talking about fake watches here. Don't expect perfection. Totally normal, or like most said, try adjusting it. When I opened this thread I thought you were going to say 30 minutes too fast.
