All Panerai PAM127 (1950) i ever saw, are using the same production number : E0117/1950 ...

This is very stupid !
Everyone who knows a little bit about replica of panerai will directly look at this number to see if it's a replica or a genuine...
The makers should better use some other numbers, it's just sooooo easy to detect a replica of a PAM127 that way

I feel sorry for the one person in the world who has the real 117 of the 1950, no one will believe it's a real panerai

Same exist in fact for all Panerai and a lot of people knows those number...
Like H0035/2000 for a PAN111H

Because it costs more money to engrave/laser etch individual serial numbers.

Don't worry, anyone smart enough to know the serial numbers that reps use, will know it's a rep already just by looking at the movement or a dozen other things.

The serial numbers are the least of the problem, IMO.

Yep... anyone who knows the watch will know it's a rep when you hand it over... even before it's turned over...
