Why are so many popular and classic PAM reps not being produced anymore?

PAM 127, 217, 1312, 233... 572.... etc

So many classic PAMS that are not being made by factories anymore that people are trying to get their hands on. This should be easy money for factories. Why no production of them anymore? It's just carbotech crap over and over while the classics are neglected.

Apparently, factories have the opinion that the demand for a novelty among the mass buyer is higher than that of connoisseurs of "non-current" models. In addition, it must be admitted that pam127 was produced for an extremely long time, and disappeared only recently, pam312 is being produced to this day, pam111 is being produced and now, 217 like all destro, is not so popular, and 233 never had a hight quality rep, at that level how they are made now.

Thanks for the response. Interesting I guess I got into the 127 market at the worst time. I said 1312 btw, not the 312. 1312 is a bit slimmer among some other minor details.

Please, though this is just my humble guesses, no one has facts about the principles of decision-making by factories. Yes, I saw that 1312, I wrote about 312, because this is just the most classic model, and it is still being produced, and is still in great demand.

Therein lies the rub; outside of the factory themselves, no one knows the complete inner workings of the rep industry. Sometimes we get snippets of news, but that's about it. While it may 'make sense' to you because you are personally looking for a specific model, to them it may not. What I've been able to piece together is that Noob, outside of the very few models that they made (and now it looks they've stopped making them as well), the latest owners almost altogether decided to leave the PAM market and focus on the Rolex portion. Their erstwhile rival H-factory is no more, and ZF and SF factories' releases have not been that many and eventually stopped making PAMs as well. Only KW/V6F remained, which eventually became VSF and XF, which make most of what we see today. It's not an ideal setup as no competition leads to stagnation. Maybe that's why they're content with releasing reps of the current models. Again, like KOT1917, this is my own personal view on things, it may be completely off-base, or there's a kernel of truth in it. We may never know definitively. I suggest just camping out in M2M. Maybe you'll get lucky.
