Why am I not allowed to edit my own posts?

Do I have to wait for a certain amount time or earn enough "points"/trust to be allowed to do so?
Some forums allow you to edit the post only within a time windows after your post is published, can this forum do that?

Yeah I am with you as a noob, I wish I would at least be able to delete it. Just double posted something because server took like 15 second to upload my post and I double clicked thinking it did not go thru..

I believe, since the recent forum update, editing /deleting posts (outside of the M2M sales area) is restricted to Supporters/Patrons.

Another good reason to send a PM to the bossman & follow his instructions.
