Who's in for a nice 24????

Out of all of my watches I wear my $200 Trustytime 024 the most by far.

I never hear a peep about it here on the forums.

I love this watch, but the date wheel sucks bad.

I did recently buy a gen but I couldn't bring myself to buy a gen 24 or 25 even though they are my fav, they seem to really show wear and the older models have bezel problems. Especially since it is the ultimate beater watch, I would really love a nice 24 rep.

What other flaws are there with the rep?? Are there any eta versions around??

Can I possible ask any more questions?? :idea:

I hear about dealers swapping date wheels on rollie subs... can the new north pole wheel work in the 024? If so who can I send one too?

i would highly suggest you get eddie lee's 243

not exactly the 24...but imo, even better. and of all the reps of ANY panerai watch (believe me, i've had my fair share of pam gens and reps), it is the best in my opinion. sapphire, tight bezel, tight crown guard, and great price at sub-$250 (excuse the pun).

i have two of them - one as back up! that's how much i like it. it's accurate, and beautiful, and durable. beefier than the 024 and just a tad more character. and eddie delivered each of them w/i a week or so.

A group of folks are working on an Asian 7750 overlay which should solve the date font issue. It has been protyped but still being tested on a few of the subs including the 243, 194 and 87. Doesn't fix the magnification issue but does fix the font. It will be posted when ready to be sold.
