my friend is bidding on this pam048 without box and papers and because I read some stories here about scammers on ebay and even chrono24 I'm asking for a little help here from the Panerai afficionados.

Is there any reason to doubt the seller here even though he has 100% feedback? In other words, is this a gen or rep?

Mostly because of the non-flush cannon pinion. Also lume application doesn't seem to be too good but that might just be my eyes.

I did wonder when I saw this.He's been selling quite a few Pams on there, he's in the UK and the last picture in each of his listings is of a successful bid of purchase. I don't know enough to call him out though.

Complete scam. Why is it described in English and not Dutch. Whiteout box/ papers on eBay is a bad bad idea. Why pics so poor? Why not a receipt from purchase? Even if bought in the Caribbean. Which is not that far fetched to not have box and papers. Anyway, it seems to have a funny feel about it. IMO
